Summer Eyes

Who has been loving the beautiful weather? We have! Hotter weather means new clothing and brighter colors for summer and what better way to complete your summer look than having eyes to match? Luckily, Arbonne has created a line of Summer-inspired eye shadows in colors too beautiful to be true.

The Pearls by the Sea Eyeshadow's come in Pearl, Lagoon, Sea Foam, Elegance, Driftwood, Black Pearl. Check out the link to see what these shades look like! Oh baby are we excited for today's post! Everyone likes saving money and today we're going to tell you about a way to get a deal for your baby. Arbonne for Babies

When we say that Arbonne has something for everyone we mean it. This weekend we spent a lot of time with family (hence the lack of a Sunday post!) and got to thinking about products for babies. You always hear the phrase "smooth as a baby's bottom," but how do you get your baby's bottom staying smooth and away from harsh chemicals? Arbonne has a fantastic line called ABC Arbonne Baby Care just for this purpose!

The first product we're going to talk about is the Hair & Body Wash. Parents of babies may be weary of giving their child a bath in fear of getting the wash in their eyes, or causing their skin to become irritated due to its sensitivity. According to the product's page on the website the ABC Hair and Body Was is, "A gentle, ultra-mild, tear-free cleanser for hair and delicate skin."

Remember taking oat baths as a kid if you had a rash, or do you currently use oat in your moisturizer? Oat is an ingredient in this Hair and Body wash for its ability to relieve itchiness. The wash also includes Aloe which soothes skin (ever use Aloe for a harsh sunburn?). What we're most impressed with are the testimonials from parents who have tried the product at home:

Ingredients Galore

Last post we spoke about Arbonne's brand new lip polish which is part of their Arbonne Cosmetics line. We love the whole line of new, interesting colors and especially love this shiny gloss. But this lip polish is different from a lot of other polishes out there for one major reason; Arbonne is so committed to its botanical values that it lists every single ingredient within the lip polish and states why that ingredient is used. You can check out the polish's page for a list of all of the ingredients.

If you like the polish you will love the lipstick and lip liner under the Arbonne Cosmetics product line. Like the polish, the lipstick glides on easily and moisturizes (because no one wants an overly matte lipstick look!). NEW Lip Polish

We are SO excited to let you know about the new product line Arbonne has just launched! The line is called Arbonne Cosmetics and features chic colors for your face, eyes and lips. Today we will be focusing on the lip polish, which is the perfect way to finish a look. While we love lipsticks, lip glosses are a great way to give your face a young, vibrant feel.

The lip polish comes in nude, coral, raisin, brown sugar, posh and pearl. If you are dedicated to a lipstick color but want to spice up the look a bit you can also check out the clear lip polish, which can be applied on top of your lipstick to give it a glossy look.

The case for the gloss is small enough to fit in your clutch during a night out and it slides on "silky smooth" without sticking. How many of us hate using a lip gloss that our hair gets stuck in once the wind blows? I know we do! The Perfect Primer for St. Patrick's Day

Today is one of the most makeup-important days of the year. People like to get really festive on St. Patrick's day which is why we thought today would be the perfect day to test out the Visual Illusion Makeup Primer. Arbonne believes in sampling which is great because you can actually test out a product in the comfort of you own home and determine whether or not you'd like to purchase it.

We got a sample of this primer from Lainie and tested it out! One of our friends applied the primer post-shower:


As she was applying it to her face she said, "I've never seen a product like this before! It's making my skin feel so silky." See, the primer is the texture of a lotion and a gel combined and it is truly smooth to the touch. After she smoothed out the primer on her face, including her eyelids, she applied foundation and the rest of her makeup. Since she was going out for St. Patrick's day she wanted to wear a glitter eye shadow. She told me that the glitter usually falls on her face, leaving her eyes glitter-less by the end of the night. Not tonight! 5 hours after applying the glitter eye shadow, her eye makeup still looked fantastic:

Make Your Makeup Stick!

Dulling Age Spots

On Sunday we spoke about the Revelâge product, Intensive Pro-Brightening Night Serum. Not ONLY does this product work while you sleep to balance out your skin tone, but it also works to reduce the appearance of freckles! The night serum can be paired with the Age Spot Brightening Day Cream as well. Acne Wash Medication

The Acne Wash Medication we spoke about on Wednesday has helped several of Lainie's clients, including Lainie herself. She shared the Clear Advantage program with one of her girlfriends and she has been hooked on it ever since. Bust Those Breakouts!

Last week we spoke about how to keep your hands moist in the winter, and now it's time to talk about your face! The problem with a TON of facial washes is that they make your skin dry. If you see "alcohol" as an ingredient on the back of your daily breakout medicine or wash that is likely what is causing additional dryness. Arbonne offers an incredible product called the Clarifying Acne Wash Medication which is part of their Arbonne Clear Advantage line.

Soft Hands Are the Key to Success

OK... maybe we're exaggerating a bit but think about it! The very first time you meet someone you shake their hand. In that second-long handshake you get a feel for what that person is all about, and you can certainly tell whether or not they take the time to moisturize. Lainie goes through this a lot. As a woman who runs her own business, she is constantly meeting new people and trying to make a great first impression. Especially since she works with her hands, it's important for her to keep them moisturized so that she looks professional. For those of you out there who are constantly around different products (whether it be hairspray or floor cleaner) and who need to wash your hands over and over again, it is so important to moisturize! Not only do dry hands give off a bad impression, but they are also downright uncomfortable to deal with.

You might be surprised by this, but Lainie has plenty of male clients. Arbonne offers products for all people with all different kinds of skin, so these wonderful items should not be something for men to shy away from! Dry Hands? We've got a solution!

Internet malfunctions would just not allow us to post yesterday but today we have an exciting product to share with you! In the last months of winter, everyone is still dealing with their dry hand issues. Your hands become cracked, even itchy and it seems like no moisturizer will work. Look no further! This FC5 Ultra-Hydrating Hand Crème is a true miracle-worker.

The hand creme, like all Arbonne products, contains no yucky chemicals meaning that you are free to eat or apply lip gloss after using it. Figure 8

On Sunday we introduced you to the Figure 8 product and now we're going to tell you how you can get involved and benefit from it! Lainie loves the vanilla-flavored protein shakes and serves the Detox tea to the clients at her hair salon while they are waiting for an appointment. Everyone has raved about the tea, but her biggest client success story came just a few weeks ago. One of Lainie's clients lost 37 pounds in 12 weeks by incorporating Go Easy! Protein Shakes into their diet and maintaining good exercise and a healthy eating plan. But planning to use the Figure 8 products is just the first step; you also need support!

In addition to all of the resources on the site such as meal planners, a list of nutrition-dense fruits and vegetables, a list of suggested food substitutions and plenty of healthful recipes, the site also has fantastic message boards. Welcome!

About a year or so ago Lainie was introduced to Arbonne products by a girlfriend and she instantly became hooked. She loved that the products are 100% vegan. She loved that the brand and its products are Swiss-made. She loved how fresh her skin looked. She loved that Arbonne was about to celebrate its 30th year in business. Most of all, she loved that she could become part of it all.

Lainie's life is hectic to begin with; she's a wife, a busy mother of two and operates a hair salon out of her home. With over 20 years of experience in the hairdressing business though, she wanted to be able to offer the whole package. No matter how busy life gets Lainie believes that everyone deserves to feel beautiful and once Arbonne did that for her, she wanted to be able to share Arbonne's products with everyone.

The purpose of this blog is to raise awareness of Arbonne and its incredible line of beauty care products and also to give people a resource when purchasing Arbonne products (is your skin dry, oily? looking to accentuate your eyes?
